Description
4.62.0
Langfuse is an open-source LLM engineering platform. It gives you observability and tracing for LLM applications, evaluations, prompt management, a prompt playground, datasets, and usage/cost metrics — all self-hosted on your own Cloudron.
This package runs the open-source (MIT) edition. It integrates with OpenTelemetry, the OpenAI SDK, LangChain, LiteLLM, LlamaIndex, and most LLM tooling, so it can act as the observability sink for the rest of your stack.
On this Cloudron:
- Langfuse keeps its own login (email/password plus optional single sign-on through your Cloudron users via OIDC). It is not fronted by the Cloudron SSO proxy.
- Trace ingestion uses Langfuse project API keys (a public/secret key pair you create in the UI),
sent to the open
/api/public/*endpoints — including the OpenTelemetry endpoint/api/public/otel/v1/traces. - ClickHouse and MinIO are bundled and managed for you; PostgreSQL and Redis come from Cloudron addons. All trace data and object storage live in the app's backed-up data directory.
The enterprise (/ee) features (RBAC, audit logs, data retention policies, SCIM) are intentionally
not included.
Recent Changes
Base image cloudron/base 5.1.0 to 6.0.0 (Ubuntu 26.04, glibc 2.43).
Update langfuse 4.43.0 to 4.62.0. Confirmed security fixes: SCIM changes of organisation OWNER now
require the ownership permission (4.61.0), and LIKE wildcards are escaped in the remaining substring
searches (4.62.0). SCIM and enterprise features are not enabled in this package.
The update applies 17 PostgreSQL migrations (roles and role assignments, skills, topics, audit log
staging, gateway connections, tracing readiness settings, integration backfill flags) and 4 ClickHouse
migrations (0050 to 0053). Migration 0050 rebuilds the scores index in place and 0053 adds columns
and rewrites the events materialised view, so the first start after updating can take longer on a
large install.
Upstream now ships its images on Red Hat UBI 9 (glibc) instead of Alpine (musl). The package no
longer carries a separate musl userland: it runs the upstream Node 24.21 and Prisma engines directly
on the base. Node major unchanged (24).
Documentation: the 60 second proxy cut-off mentioned in the integrations notes was wrong; Cloudron
does not cut requests at 60 seconds, the limit a client hits is its own timeout.
