Campfire

Campfire is a web-based group chat application. It has multiple rooms with access controls, direct messages, file attachments with previews, search, Web Push notifications, @mentions, and an API for bot integrations.

This app runs the Rust implementation (basecamp/once-campfire-rust): one campfire binary replaces the Rails app's Ruby, Puma, Redis, Resque and Thruster, while keeping the same SQLite schema, storage layout and cookie format. TLS, the database, uploads and backups all live under /app/data and are included in Cloudron's backups. No Redis or Postgres addon is required.

Campfire has its own accounts, invitations and admin console; it is not tied to your Cloudron users.
